PIT Tag Interrogation Site Details
Interrogation has been taking place at Ice Harbor dam since 2003. The first interrogation site (IHA) consisted of detectors in both of the the adult fishways. In 2005 antennas were installed in the juvenile bypass system; the new detectors were combined with the existing interrogation site and it was renamed to ICH.
ICH - Ice Harbor Dam Fishways and Juvenile Bypass
This site consists of weir orifice and vertical slot antennas installed in both the North Shore (right) and South Shore (left) ladders, and a Full Flow Bypass antenna group installed in the juvenile bypass system. See the site diagram and site configuration history for antenna group locations.
