Ingbuild

The preferred method of installing Ingres components is through the use of the ingbuild tool. On a system with Ingres already at least partially installed, it can be found at:

$II_SYSTEM/ingres/install/ingbuild

It needs to told where to find the tar file of source code for installing. On bay and jack, the source is stored at

/usr/ingres/src/ingres{version}/ingres.tar
