M4 (Mini-Mustang) VS Multimon Test Result

Overview

The following graphic shows how mini-mustang was tested against multimon. In short it was set up as a race. Not shown in the graphic is the fact that the tag from the transceiver triggered the start of the race for both systems.

Results

The following link will open a pdf that shows the results of the 8 races that were ran. In general, multimon was more consistent and won about 1/2 the time. Mini-mustang was faster at times but never consistent. Several things were tried to make it more consistent such as; eliminate network traffic, hubs, NIC's ect. The general consensus was that window's interrupts were causing the random delays.

MM vs MiniMustang Test Results

No through put testing was done with device master here in the Kennewick lab as most of that was done in Portland and the simulator here in Kennewick had issues which since have been resolved.
