Rapid River Hatchery

Rapid River Hatchery, operated by Idaho Fish and Game and funded by the Idaho Power Company, is located on Rapid River four miles upstream from where it joins the Little Salmon River, and about six miles southwest of Riggins, ID.

RPJ - Rapid River Hatchery Juvenile Volitional Release
In operation since 2000, this site interrogates PIT-tagged fish that are volitionally released from the hatchery. The site consists of two antenna groups with four U-shaped antennas.
