Signal by Code

Signal by Code is another form of Separation by Code. The difference is that the action for a targeted fish is completed manually. In a Signal by Code facility, an indicator light is illuminated to alert staff that a target PIT tag has been detected and which action to apply to the targeted fish. The Bonneville Adult Fish Facility is the only site with Signal by Code functionality.
