- Take US-395 south
- Take the I-82 E ramp to Pendleton/Umatilla - go 19 miles

Site History

PTAGIS has maintained the PIT tag detection and Separation-by-Code system in the lower section of the Bonneville Dam Washington Shore fish ladder since 1998. Four 400KHz antennas (per flume, eight total) were first installed in the Adult Fish Facility (AFF). This initial topology was assigned a site ID of B2A.

In 2001, 24 ISO antennas were installed in the orifices of 12 weirs in the main ladder and assigned a site ID of BWL. Four of those antennas were subsequently removed. Also in 2001 the flumes in the AFF were changed. This configuration had three 400kHz antennas and two ISO antennas per flume.

In December 2003 the 400kHz antennas were removed and two additional ISO antennas were added to the flumes for a total of four ISO antennas per flume. The B2A and BWL sites were then combined to form BO3.
