- From Tri-Cities - traveling on north side of Snake River
- Go north on US-395
- Continue on US-12 - take exit ramp toward Kahlotus
- Travel north on Pasco-Kahlotus Highway - go 31 miles to Kahlotus
- Turn right onto WA-260 - go 15 miles to Washtucna
- Turn right onto WA-26 - go 42 miles
- Turn right onto Sommers Rd. - go five miles
- Turn right onto Almota Rd. - go five miles
- Turn right onto WA-194 - go 11 miles
- Arrive at Lower Granite Lock and Dam
- From Tri-Cities - traveling on south side of Snake River
- Go north on US-395
- Continue on US-12, turn left onto WA-124 - go 56 miles (through Prescott and Waitsburg to Dayton)
- Continue through Dayton on US-12 - go 23 miles
- Turn left onto WA-127 - go 9 miles
- Turn right (just before Central Ferry Bridge) onto Lower Deadman Rd. - go 12 miles
- Turn left at Gould City-Mayview Rd -go 1.5 miles
- Continue on N. Deadman Rd. - go five miles
- Turn left at Kirby-Mayview Rd - six miles
- Continue on Casey Creek Rd - go five miles
- Continue on Almota Ferry Rd - go five miles
- Arrive at Lower Granite Lock and Dam
- From Tri-Cities - traveling on south side of Snake River (dirt road shortcut)
- Go north on US-395
- Continue on US-12, turn left onto WA-124 - go 56 miles (through Prescott and Waitsburg to Dayton)
- Continue through Dayton on US-12 - go 23 miles
- Turn left onto WA-127 - go 9 miles
- Turn right (just before Central Ferry Bridge) onto Lower Deadman Rd. - go 9 miles
- Turn left onto (dirt road) Lynn Gulch Rd. - go 8 miles
- Turn left onto Casey Creek Rd - go 1.5 miles
