- From Tri-Cities
- Take US-395 south
- Take the I-82 E ramp to Pendleton/Umatilla - go 21 miles
- Take the US-395/US-730 Exit 1 to Umatilla/Hermiston - go 0.2 miles
- To Fish Ladder and PIT Tag Trailer (right bank)
- Bear right at 6th St/Columbia River Hwy - go 0.4 miles
- Turn left onto Umatilla River Rd. - go 2.5 miles
- Turn right into parking lot
- Arrive at Three Mile Falls Dam
- To Fish Ladder and PIT Tag Trailer (right bank)
- To Weid and Outfall (left bank)
- Bear right at 6th St/Columbia River Hwy - go 1.5 miles
- Turn left onto Powerline Rd. - go 0.6 miles
- Turn left onto canal access road - go 2.75 miles
- Canal access road is unmarked, runs along north side of canal and under I-82 bridge
- Arrive at Three Mile Falls Dam
- To Weid and Outfall (left bank)
